Breast lipoma
Lipoma belongs to rare benign breast conditions. This neoplasm can be found not only in the breast but in any body part that has fat tissue. Lipoma is a benign neoplasm that forms from adipose tissue, hat its own capsule and is not able to turn into a malignant disease.
It is usually discovered during self-examination as a soft and elastic formation of the breast with a possible tendency for slow growth. Lipomas are well diagnosed with ultrasound and do not require any additional diagnostics. Other than cosmetic deformation of the breasts, lipomas do not pose any danger.
